From the A1:

Take the A697 turn off at Morpeth and continue through Longhorsley. At Weldon Bridge, turn left onto the B6344, signposted Rothbury.

Continue through Rothbury, through Thropton and then turn right at Flotterton and continue for 8 miles, passing through Harbottle and Alwinton Villages
